Industrialized construction: Vision by components. How to drive change for better building outcomes

iCONS Cluster invites you to participate in a conference within the LIDERA Program of the SNE-Nafar Lansare.

The index of the day will follow the following structure:

Introduction: what is industrialization
Differences between off-site, pre-fabrication and industrialization
3.- Industrialization Total (360o) or partial (180o without structure) 90o (facade, bathrooms/kitchens, medianeras, and part of installations)
Structural platform system: concrete, wood, mixed (steel/concrete), both in 3D modular and S3C (compatible components), with examples
5.- On S3C platforms: component typology and examples
6.- Industrialization in 5F: Design (iBOS methodology of own Components), Construction (4F): Infrastructure + Structure + Surroundings + Installations and interiors
7.- Planning and costs
Production lines for the manufacture of compatible components of 4F with examples

This time Begoña López Ferrer, CEO of the engineering specialized in industrialized construction “Components and Constructive Units” It will give us a more parametrized view of how construction is changing; explaining the industrialized construction understood as a process in 5 phases: 1) Process-product engineering, 2) Manufacturing, 3) Transport, 4) Assembly and 5) Execution control.

During his career in the sector, we can highlight:

  • Development of major industrialized production centres such as Modultec and The Prototipo Company.
  • With more than 200 works executed in industrialized construction is one of the largest experts in Spain in this type of construction: Real Madrid residences in Valdebebas, hospitals, residences, hotels, schools, high-rise and single-family dwellings, catering (Me Donald’s. KFC. Starbucks), industrial buildings and compatible components such as bathrooms, structure, facades, among others.
  • He has participated in important research projects such as CETICA. Industrialization project for construction financed with € 24.3 M by CDTI. He has been and is a consultant in the field of industrialization for public administration.

The aim is to present to managers in the construction sector objective market experiences from one of the leading experts in Spain on industrial construction; The aim is to inspire, learn, adjust expectations and “mold” mentalities, once the sector needs to think differently in order to industrialize.

We are waiting for you on Thursday, April 25 from 17:00 h to 19:00 h in an online day with further debate.

As always, thank you very much.
